Reading is very useful tool that you can use to improve your English level.

Reading is great because you learn a lot of vocabulary and more importantly you see it in context.

This is also the case with grammar. When we learn a new grammar topic in class for example, we remember it that day, maybe the day after too, but weeks later it’s very possible that we have already forgotten it.

Reading allows you to see the grammar you have learnt in context, and reminds you of how it is used. This means that there is less chance that you are going to forget it and reinforces it each time you see that grammar topic used in context.

I recommend reading with an app like Kindle. Reading on a phone or tablet allows you to translate words and see definitions instantly, making the process of reading easier and more enjoyable.

Kindle books are also very cheap, a book that costs $15 for a physical copy could be only $4 in kindle format, saving money is always good!

You can download the kindle app for free on your phone or tablet. When you want to buy a book, go on the amazon website and buy the kindle version of the book. The book then appears in your Kindle app. Just make sure your Amazon account is linked to your Kindle account.

Leer es genial porque aprendes mucho vocabulario y, lo más importante, lo ves en contexto.

Lo mismo ocurre con la gramática. Cuando aprendemos un nuevo tema de gramática en clase, por ejemplo, lo recordamos ese mismo día, quizá al día siguiente también, pero semanas después es muy posible que ya lo hayamos olvidado.

Leer te permite ver la gramática que has aprendido en contexto y te recuerda cómo se usa. Esto significa que hay menos probabilidades de que la olvides y la refuerza cada vez que ves ese tema gramatical usado en contexto.

Recomiendo leer con una aplicación como Kindle. Leer en un teléfono o tableta te permite traducir palabras y ver definiciones al instante, lo que hace que la lectura sea más fácil y agradable.
